At Kids Fantasy Nursery informal assessments are used. Children are assessed using an on-going process of assessment which is tailored to meet each and every child’s needs and interests. Staff use observation checklists, portfolios, teacher ratings and rubrics. The assessment results are guidelines as they serve to:
1. Developing children by working on their needs
2. Ensuring that our curriculum develops every child uniquely
3. Ensuring quality teacher performance
4. Continuous improvement plan
Our Curriculum
The Kids Fantasy Nursery follows a curriculum based on the British National Curriculum. At Kids Fantasy Nursery, the foundations are laid for lifelong learning. The uniqueness of every child is valued, by providing a structured curriculum which meets the needs of individuals.
Our Program
The Kids Fantasy Nursery offers age based class structure. The mains are Crèche- Babies (6 weeks to 15 months), Toddlers (1.4 to 2.4 years), Hikers ( 2.5 to 2.9 years) and Preschool ( 3+ to 4 years). The Preschool is divided into Ramblers, Mountaineers & Climbers.
